all right this is Wednesday science video so for Wednesday's science you have page 101 in your science packet so that this one is a vocabulary page there's a word bank and then sentences for the word to the correct description earthquake fault normal fault play reverse fault strike slip fault tsunami and vibrates up first watch the science videos for Tuesday it talks about plate tectonics and how the Earth's crust is made up of plates crust are called place which is the letters Earth's crust caused by a stye fit in Earth okay so we know that when there's that sudden movement of the plates filled out and that is called and earthquake a crack where the plates come and rocks move along one or both sides so when placed in California we call those AIDS rock slide past one another in different directions so now the talking about a type of remember us pictures of different directions there are times when they move apart from each other they're pulling apart putting together and then there's times when they are sliding past one another and the one that they're describing right now rock slide past one another that's what we call a strike slip strike slip fault and that is actually with the San Andreas fault it's one of those stuck in the upper cause an earthquake when they have movement a giant ocean waves you wash a couple of videos about that a giant ocean wave is called a tsunami so when we feel an earthquake that's because there's been rapid movement and we call that letter A we're going to describe another type of salt this is where plates are pushing together the pushing together and awkward so we call that a reverse fault which is letter when they're pushing together a word that means the stakes I would be vibrate and then finally the last kind of salt plates pull apart so they're pulling apart from each other rocks above the fault surface moves it's going to be called a normal fault which is our last choice to AC normal fault all right and that's it for your science for today
