hi everybody today we're going to talk about chapter 8 of By the Great Horn Spoon it's called saved by whisker our ship the lady Wilma has finally arrived in San Fran Cisco you can see all the tall masted ships that are in the harbor and the city is very rustic old-fashioned-looking our guys are really surprised to see the city and all the strange people that are in it one thing that really surprised to see is that tub bath with hot water are $10 and it says bring your own soap so they're pretty shocked cuz so you can see there's not through building Source just tents so when they run tasconline closer they actually got an idea Chris worthy was like you know what we can make some money here because you've got to get to the gold filled so he opened his bag and he decided to make some money he was going to set up a haircut barber shop right there in the street and master Jack was going to be his first client so all these miners that haven't been to have a bath or a shower or shave in months or years see this and they really want to have a shower very interested so they get in line and one by one praiseworthy cuts her hair and gives me shave and they collect all of the hair which sounds pretty gross and Jack renting it out and what he finds in their share was gold he finds Gold Dust trim it in the trimmings they'll just wasn't really I was in my kitchen uses gold and the Gold Dust came from all that I had to go through my daughter's all over minerals and metal things that you've learned about with Miss Mater find some gold but we know this isn't real goal this is fool's gold this is pyrite so in our story when we write to somebody wanted but so you need to draw picture of a guy that's got a big beard and what we're showing there is some gold that's in his beer because Jack and praiseworthy you want to go to the goldfields but they don't have enough money to get there so they now cut Myers hair to find gold in the tree how to draw the picture you really only need to know how to make a you and a crescent and a wiggly jiggly blue line that I've got there some of my friends and add some extra hair so here's what I do for the picture I started with making a nose first and then the mustache underneath and then I put that crazy beard and the eyes and added extra hair and I didn't have yellow so I can use Dora and in the story they say about the person I'm head chestnut hair Chestnut is brown but I didn't have that so I didn't see the black so you can see it so here is the whole thing if you want to see it from the beginning and I hope you had fun with that chapter cuz now we're off the ship and we're going to be going to the gold Fields see you tomorrow
