Writing - Star of the Week
It is time to catch up for our classmates who did not get to celebrate Star of the Week.  Everyone gets a letter and adventure story!!
To complete the Star of the week letters and Star of the Week Adventure story you have 2 options.
1 - I have emailed copies of the stationary we use in class for both the letter and the story to you.  You can print off the paper, write your letter and story, then email me a copy of both.  I will send them to our Star.
2 - You can go to OneDrive.  I have set up a form for the letter and another for the adventure story.  You can type onto One Drive and I will put them all together and send to our Star.
Either way works - do not do both - pick which way works better for you.

Science - Mystery Science
Monday -  Lesson: How are rainbows made?
Click the blue arrow on the right side of the picture frame to go to the next section once the video stops.  This lesson has a few different parts.  After the lesson, there are 5 art demonstrations about rainbows.  Do you think you can try one?  See if you can figure out which one I tried?
Hands-On Activity:
You may not have all the supplies needed for this activity, if not, don't worry about it.  This is just here if you want to try, you do not have to do it.  Print out directions are below.
Bonus Activity:  You can create rainbow colors at home! Squirt a dime-size amount of dish soap into a bowl. Add water. Use a straw to blow some bubbles. Can you see colors in the bubbles? Look carefully! If you can’t find colors, move the bowl to a spot with different light. Like a rainbow, the colors that swirl in a soap bubble come from white light. The surface of the bubble splits the light into many colors!

Friday - Lesson: Were Dragons Ever Real?  (mini lesson - 5 minutes)
Challenge of the Week - Show us your collections!
We all love to collect something.  Do you have a unique collection?  Show us what you have saved and collected and kept as something special to you.  You can video your entire collection explaining what it is, tell us about a special pice in it, tell us how you started collecting these pieces, tell us your favorite piece.  Have fun with it.  You can act like a tour guide in a museum, or a rare collector, or an art dealer, you decide.  Remember, no more than 5 minutes with your video.  If you would like to do this live on Fridays zoom, that would work too!
