We have some suggestions for things to do academically this summer. All our suggestions are free.
Math Review
***Strongly suggested.
If your child has not passed Reflex they should continue to log on until they
pass it all.
Third Grade Review/Practice
IReady Math online would be great to do this summer. It will be available to your child until the end of July. iReady is a great resource because it is adaptive to what your child needs. If your child needs help in geometry it will give them more help in that area. You child can continue to log onto iReady, and posted below is a paper copy to review the third grade math standards. Please do what works for your family. These packets would be great if you think your child would benefit from reviewing any third-grade concepts. If you make it part of your child’s morning routine, they can do it every day. Maybe have them do 2 pages a day.
If you choose to have them log onto iReady we suggest doing 1 reading lesson one day and then one math lesson the next day.
**Enrichment
Khan Academy is a great thing to continue. Your child can find fourth grade math and start to work on that. Search courses, math, fourth grade.
Math Review Packets are included below if you think your child needs more math review.
Reading Review

IReady Reading website or review packet posted below to print out.
EPIC is also a great resource to continue using. (2 hours free per week this summer)
***New and Fun Summer Enrichment
Wonderopolis is a great site for reading and learning new and interesting things. There is a bank of topics where kids have asked questions. Articles and videos are provided to help them learn the answers. This is a great site for nonfiction reading. https://wonderopolis.org/
Camp Wonderopolis also looks great. It is an interactive free online camp. This is a site with lots of reading comprehension and very interesting articles, videos, and topics. To make progress in the camp you must answer a short 6 question quiz for each article that you read. It seems very interesting and interactive. We highly suggest this for some summer learning fun. Your child will be in control of what they want to learn about.

Just click on daily schedule and fun instructional and interactive sites will pop up each day. There is a little bit of everything here.
Here is a link to order a small backpack, summer workbook, and a few books. Inside the workbook there are reading, math, and writing assignments. There are packs for younger and older students as well. The price is $38.00 which is pretty good.
