hi this is going to voyageurs my name is Mister one more and I'm your principal today I'd like to talk about a very special program that we have here at Vista Grande if she is going to tell us more about it I am the team kids coach here at Vista Grande and I am so excited to invite you to be part of our team he might be thinking what is Team kids team kids is a great service learning organization that empower kids to change the world so this year we have set up some really great things for you all to participate in and we're starting next week and I know that all of you can find a way to help others in our community especially during the holidays when we need you the most I would like to introduce mr. Thompson one of our team kids helpers and he's going to tell you about the first way you can help each year over misses a millionaire vintage to collect food for Harbor Interfaith Services nonprofit organization that works to provide holiday food baskets for people needing support from November 16th through the 19th to drop off your donations there will be a been labeled in the ballet line they're looking for a non-perishable venation that means anything in a can for a box that won't go bad you can also bring gift cards to grocery stores that's your kindness by giving to those in need mr. Warner will now tell you about the second part of the challenge do you like to run I hear this school has wonderful run Club Superstar Runners well you're in luck this year we'd like to be part of the Turkey Trot it is no cost if you take donations and you'll hear more about it and update this weekend I just want to let you know if you have videos or you take photos of you running with the Turkey Trot there are prizes give me everything from a 5k excetera at this time we'd like to share more about the third and we can work together to help others all right the last time you can help next week is by bringing in a new unwrapped toy we are partnering partnering with spark of love and our Los Angeles County firefighters to provide toys for kids in need it's really important that we get those donations in early this year due to the coronavirus all of the toys need to be sanitized before they can get into the hands of children let's make her our kids in the community extra happy this year and spread are tyrande love and kindness by bringing in a new unwrapped toy think about something you'd like to receive all right so let's fill up that soon boys and girls and remember to bring in your donation all right Voyager thank you for listening today so we can clusion please help us feed the hungry spread Joy bring smiles to the kids are in this holiday season I can't wait to collect thank you in advance for stepping up showing your team kids Spirit to help those in need go team kids
